Walk the Plank

The captain asks seven questions. Everyone gets the same seven. The rarer your answer among the whole crew, the deeper you sink, and the deeper you sink, the more treasure you bring up.

Today's deepest

    This week's deepest

The crew boards show the five deepest named dives, today and this week (Monday to Sunday). A new plank goes up at 5 am Sydney time. A ✦ marks a registered BerryChain name.

      How it works

Each day the captain picks seven prompts from his log, the same seven for everyone, and you get 25 seconds per prompt. Your answer is scored by how rare it is among everything the crew has answered to that prompt so far: the most common answers are worth 10 points, the rarest 100. Every point is ten metres of depth, so a perfect plank is 7,000 metres and lands you in Davy Jones' Locker.

Answers that are not in the captain's log are judged once by the Harbourmaster's model and remembered, so spelling is forgiven and a correct answer nobody has given before is the rarest of all. Made-up answers score nothing. The daily plank can be walked once a day; the endless plank draws seven at random and does not count for the crew board.

0.2 BERRY for a deep dive. Pass 5,000 metres on the daily plank under your registered BerryChain name, the one your wallet carries, and 0.2 BERRY comes to your chest as a letter from the Harbourmaster, once per day per name. Any other name is welcome on the crew board but earns no coins. BERRY has no price and no value; it is the coin you write letters with.

Answers are sent to seed1.berrychain.link so they can be counted against everyone else's. Only your name as you typed it, your answers and the day are kept.
